March 1, 2016 - 1:30pm PST, 4:30pm EST

Chronic pain is very common. Unfortunately, few people with chronic pain are able to access pain management programs that are known to help. This has led to interest in the innovative use of technology to increase access to pain management programs. In this talk Dr Blake Dear describes the need for innovation and describes the results of several promising trials of a new internet-delivered pain management program, The Pain Course, being developed in Australia.

In this webinar, you will learn to:

  1. Understand the need for innovation in the delivery of pain management programs
  2. Understand the state-of-the-science regarding these programs
  3. Understand the evidence for one emerging internet-delivered pain management program
  4. Understand some of the core outstanding issues for research in this area
